On Saturday, June 22, 2019, HCOP's 2019 Spring Ambassador Program participants were recognized an award luncheon at the Creighton University Harper Center - Ahmanson Ballroom. Diane Ulmer, OTR/L, Manager of the Spinal Cord Injury Program at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital gave the keynote address on the importance of ingenuity and teamwork in healthcare. Students, as well as their family and friends, had the opportunity to recap the events of the program. Students were then presented with a Certificate of Successful Completion of the HCOP program. As an added bonus, the health professional students, who also acted as mentors during the program, were honored with a special award for their service. The joyful afternoon wrapped up with a group photo and much well-wishing to our student participants.
