On May 4th, 2019, Pipeline to Success - HCOP Ambassador Program participants had the opportunity to learn about managing their finances from Creighton University’s Financial Aid Director, Paula Kohles. The presentation covered various methods to pay for college, how to stay financially secure, and answering questions students have regarding tuition, taking out loans, and budgeting for college. A mentor-mentee social took place during the second part of the session, allowing mentors and mentees to interact and bond over pizza while they discussed their school year. Finally, the winner of the HCOP T-shirt design contest was announced; Amy Yordduangjun was the winner of the prize, and her design will be featured on HCOP T-shirts.
